AluminArte
High quality metal prints on aluminum are part art and part science.
The state-of-the-art print process goes like this: a high-quality image is printed on a special paper using proprietary inks. Using the right combination of heat, time and pressure, the image is sublimated onto a specially coated aluminium surface. Sublimation means that under the right amount of heat and pressure, the inks turn into a vapor before they turn back into a solid. While the inks are in the vapor state, the ink molecules go inside a specially coated aluminum surface forming the finest metal print.
Adding the “art” to AluminArte is my specialty. Every place that I’ve traveled, every species that I’ve studied, and every decision I’ve ever made about what Nature has to show me goes into each photograph that I have taken. Finding beauty isn’t hard. How to see beauty is the difficult part. Whatever I see, I like to share with you.

Custom Shipping
We understand the importance of protecting high-end art. Once your AluminArte print is finished, it will be expertly packed and secured in a highly durable double-wall, corrugated box or wooden crate. It will arrive at your door ready to hang right out of the box.
*Prints up to 40×60 will travel in corrugated boxes. Larger art works will be shipped in a wooden crate.
Our custom print shop can drop ship and blind ship anywhere. Smaller prints are handled by UPS and are sent in specially designed corrugated boxes. UPS shipping costs are calculated per order depending on destination. We can notify you when your prints ships and provide the tracking data. For larger aluminum prints, a custom-sized wooden crate is built for each image. Transportation and delivery are handled by quality freight carriers.
All Green and Resilient
AluminArte uses 98% recycled aluminum content. We never use harmful chemicals for our proprietary coating material and there are no volatile organic compounds (VOCs) used in the print-making process. AluminArte is the first photographic imaging product that is truly environmentally green.
With unprecedented resistance to surface abrasion, high humidity, atmospheric ozone, and contact with water, AluminArte prints can be safely displayed indoors or out without the need for framing under glass or acrylic, face-mounting, or surface laminating.
When displayed, unframed prints made with the latest generation of ChromaLuxe aluminum photo panels are far more stable and three times longer lasting than current silver-halide papers, including silver-halide prints framed under UV-absorbing acrylic or glass or when face-mounted to UV-absorbing acrylic.
You can hang AluminArte prints outdoors but preferably in shaded areas to reduce fading. If the print is in harsh, direct sunlight for more than 2 hours a day, you will notice some slight fading after several years of sun exposure. AluminArte is long lasting, up to 65 years.
